Mr. Dutchie, a New York native has worked in the fields of education and law since graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 1980.
Fluent is in the French language, François began his career as a teaching fellow in the Romance Languages Department of the University of Pennsylvania and continued at the Université de Lyon in southern France where he was an instructor of English and American Civilization. After leaving the university setting, Mr. Dutchie worked as a paralegal and database manager at a large Philadelphia law firm where he was responsible for the design and implementation of database management systems for the 40-member litigation department.
Once graduating, cum laude, in 1993 from Temple University School of Law, François worked as an associate in the commercial litigation department of one of Philadelphia’s most prestigious law firms. While there he represented both plaintiffs and defendants in numerous cases involving contract disputes.
François serves as legal advisor to The Globalink Group, Inc., an international consultancy in which his duties include the review and drafting of agreements, contract negotiations, handling of corporate legal matters and strategic planning. Mr. Dutchie’s professional background, as well as the experience and contacts gained from extensive travel in Europe and Asia, has given him a clear understanding of the global community.
Mr. Dutchie currently works as Deputy City Solicitor in the Law Department of the City of Philadelphia.
